Brown Pelican at Duck Key

On the way back to the mainland after a 2017 trip to Key West, we stopped every chance we got to capture the beauty of the Florida Keys.

This friendly brown pelican was having a nice day basking in the sun on the rail of the Duck Key fishing pier.

The bird let the stranger with a camera walk right up... to a point, then decided flight was better than posing for the camera.
